Lord Robert Skidelsky talked about his three-volume biography, John Maynard Keynes: 1883-1946: Economist, Philosopher, Statesman, published by Penguin. During his presentation of the Manhattan Institute’s 2006 Hayek Lecture, the author compared F.A. Hayek’s themes in The Road to Serfdom with the economic and political ideologies of Keynes. After his speech the author responded to audience members' questions.

Lord Robert Skidelsky also wrote The World After Communism. He was elected a Fellow of the British Academy in 1994 and since 2002 has been chairman of the Centre for Global Studies in London. close
