NASA officials announced that the agency had identified over 50 planets that may be in the “habitable zones” of stars in the galaxy, and also found another star that has an entire planetary system. The findings came from work done by the Kepler Mission which used Earth and space-based technologies in a systematic attempt to find planets that may support life. They also answered questions from reporters. close
