The Government Reform Committee held an oversight hearing on contracting for disaster relief and recovery. Government officials and contractors testified about pre-disaster acquisition planning, contract management and support, lessons learned as a result of Hurricane Katrina, and other aspects related to the size and scope of disaster recover operations.
