The Small Business Administration held a conference on how minority small businesses can take advantage of the opportunities available in the economic stimulus package passed by Congress earlier in the year.

Karen Mills, Small Business Administration (SBA) adminstrator, delivered the keynote address at the SBA luncheon and award ceremony announcing SBA’s National Minority Small Business Person of the Year and the Administrator’s Leadership Award. In her remarks she talked about the ways the SBA is working to assist minority-owned business.

Ms. Mills also announced the year’s award winners. close
