Jason Kamras was interviewed about his experiences as a teacher and the future of public education. He was a mathematics teacher at John Philip Sousa Middle School in Washington, D.C. He was named the fifty-fifth National Teacher of the Year and the first to represent the District by President Bush at a White House ceremony on April 20, 2005.
