Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) was interviewed about a variety of subjects, including gun control legislation, his recent anti-drone filibuster on the Senate floor, immigration reform, and his plans for a possible presidential run in 2016. He criticized President Obama for sometimes using the parents of gun violence victims as “props.” He said gun control is a legitimate issue for debate but that the current gun control measures would not prevent tragedies. Senator Paul said that he was considering running for president in 2016 but no decision would be made before 2014. He also criticized the media coverage of his recent speech at Howard University.
