Events surrounding the funeral of Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist were shown. Chief Justice Rehnquist's casket remained in the Great Hall of the Supreme Court for viewing by officials and well-wishers from 10:00 a.m. EDT until approximately noon. Events include Senators, Congressmen, and government officials paying their respects, and footage of other justices and nominee Judge John Roberts. After blessings by clergy in the Great Hall the casket was carried to a hearse and taken to St. Matthew's Cathedral for a private funeral. Only the exterior of the church is seen.
