Sandra Day O’Connor delivered opening remarks on the growing influence of money in state judicial races. She talked about the perspective of businesses on the judiciary and possible solutions for restoring the value of the judiciary in business arbitration.

Alan Greenspan talked about the financial market freeze and the possibility of investor reengaging with the market. He talked about the role of the judiciary and federal regulations in the import of investment. He said that the rule of law is necessary for economic development.

This was part of the “Sandra Day O’Connor Project on the State of the Judiciary,” which focused on courts and corporate citizenship. close
