Panelists talked about Williams-Yulee v. The Florida Bar, which affects financing judicial campaigns. The U.S. Supreme Court was scheduled to hear oral argument on January 20, 2015, on whether barring judicial candidates from directly soliciting for campaign contributions was a violation of the First Amendment.
