She was appointed to the federal bench in 1990 by President Bush and she explained the nomination and confirmation process as well as the types of cases she hears. She spoke on her role in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and how it differs from the District Courts. Following her prepared remarks, she took questions from the students. close
