Lecture. After his remarks, most of the question and answer session was shown.
Among the issues Justice Thomas addressed were his views on the power of the U.S. Supreme Court, issues that inspired him, the value of oral arguments at the Supreme Court, and whether the election process needs an overhaul. Justice Thomas was nominated by President George Bush and took his seat on October 23, 1991 as the 106th Justice of the Supreme Court. He graduated from Holy Cross College in 1971.
