In the Journalist’s Roundtable portion of the Washington Journal, Talk Show Host Reverend Earl Jackson spoke with C-SPAN’s Connie Doebelle on the top news stories of the day. Dana Milbank, of the New Republic, joined the discussion and talked about the New Republic article on Steve Forbes' increasing awareness of moral issues. Later Michael Rust, of Insight Magazine, talked about the Insight story on the declining crime rates. Peter Hollenbach, Public Affairs Officer for Bureau of Public Debt and Gudrun Hertsgaard, who spoke by phone, talked about public contributions to retire the public debt.
