Former Senator Alan Simpson talked with students about journalism and its relationship to politics. He discussed how most journalists who deal with politicians ask very hard, personal questions, but they cannot take the pressure when they are asked. He also focused on how the media has handled the Clinton sexual scandal, and how it demonstrates that ratings are more important than news. After his prepared remarks questions were taken from students. close
