Panelists including former clerks of U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice John Paul Stevens held a discussion on the justice and his views on national security, including the rights of enemy combatants and the limits of executive power. Kenneth Manaster moderated. Mr. Manaster is the author of llinois Justice: The Scandal of 1969 and the Rise of John Paul Stevens (University Of Chicago Press; September 1, 2001).
