President Obama spoke at the SUNY-Albany Nano-Tech Complex about job creation and the economy. In his speech he urged Congress to take action on his initiatives intended to help the middle class, saying “an election year is not an excuse for inaction.” Some of his initiatives include eliminating tax incentives to ship jobs overseas and rewarding companies with a 20 percent tax credit for insourcing jobs, helping homeowners refinance their homes at a lower interest rate, and creating jobs by investing in clean energy. close
