Jennifer Nedlesky talked about James Madison’s philosophies regarding the Constitution. She talked about Madison’s attempt to protect rights, his rejection of judicial review, and if the present day Constitution meets Madison’s aspirations. Following her prepared remarks she answered questions from the audience.

The conference “A Constitution for the Ages: James Madison the Framer” was part of the celebration of the Centennial of the Princeton University Graduate School and also the 250th anniversary of President James Madison’s birth. close
