Pat Dalton talked about the release of a Government Accountability Office (GAO) report on the number of federal programs that are duplicated in other branches of the government. By the GAO’s estimation, there are over 50 areas of the government that have similar programs, which is down from 80 areas in 2011. She responded to telephone calls and electronic communications.
