The Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee held an all-day summit to facilitate the development of comprehensive legislation to address the energy challenges facing the nation. Topics included changing demand, increasing domestic oil production, increasing energy efficiency, modernization of the power grid, infrastructure investment, and research in and development of alternative energy sources. Questioning focused on which solutions offered would be the most likely to move energy policy forward. close
