Cathy Sultan talked about her book Israeli and Palestinian Voices: A Dialogue with Both Sides, published by Scarletta Press. She talked about her quest to understand the Middle East conflict through travels to Jerusalem and the West Bank. Ms. Sultan, who lived through the first eight years of the Lebanese civil war, from 1975 to 1990, detailed what she learned from interviews she conducted with Israeli and Palestinian refugees, teenagers, and businessmen. She also examined the current prospects for peace in the Middle East. After her presentation Ms. Sultan responded to audience members' questions. close
