At an event hosted by the Cato Institute, participants talked about self government and democracy in Iraq and about the time line for drafting a constitution and holding elections. Among the issues they addressed were the impact of the capture of Saddam Hussein on the reconstruction process, the methods for transition of power, and media coverage of events in Iraq. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
