At an event sponsored by the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University, Iraqi women on a tour of the U.S. to promote understanding of Iraqi culture spoke about a number of issues including their experiences in Iraq during and after the war, the plight of women in Iraq, cultural relations between the U.S. and Iraq, and Iraqi concerns about U.S. policy in Iraq. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
