Elected officials and community representatives testified about the impact of closing or realigning military installations in Illinois and Iowa. Installations considered for realignment or closure included the Rock Island Arsenal (IL), the 183rd Air National Guard Wing (Springfield, IL), and the Great Lakes Naval Training Center (IL). close
