Rajiv Shah and Daniel Yohannes testified on the budget request for their respective foreign assistance programs, the Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Millennium Challenge Corporation. They addressed such issues as foreign assistance openness and restructuring of USAID’s food aid program. Several committee members raised concerns regarding U.S. foreign aid to the Syrian opposition, the Palestinian Authority, and Pakistan. close
