Mr. Krepasky spoke about legislative efforts to regulate the Internet. A bill by Representative Jeb Hensarling (R-TX) sought to regulate webloggers and others who communicated on the Internet subject to campaign finance law regulations. Mr. Krepasky also responded to questions and comments from viewers.

Participating by telephone, Chairman Thomas spoke about the Federal Election Commission (FEC) regulation of online speech and his view on Congressional legislation regarding the issue.

Both guests oppose Representative Hensarling’s bill. Mr. Krepasky testified against the regulation before the House Administration Committee on September 22. close
