Egil Krogh served in the Nixon administration where he held several positions, including deputy counsel, undersecretary of transportation and co-director of the Special Investigations Unit. Mr. Krogh served a prison term for his involvement in the Watergate break-in. He was re-instated to the bar and currently practices law in Seattle.

Egil “Bud” Krogh talked about his book Integrity: Good People, Bad Choices and Life Lessons from the White House, published by PublicAffairs. He was 32 years old when he became co-director of the Nixon Adminstration’s Special Investigations Unit later known as “The Plumbers.” Mr. Krogh was responsible for investigating leaks of government documents, which ultimately lead to the Watergate hotel break-in and the infamous political scandal that followed. Mr. Krogh talked about his time in the Nixon administration, his life following Watergate, and the issue of integritiy and responsibility. He responded to questions submited by members of the audience.
