Following a closed briefing on an interim report on the search for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, Mr. Kay and senators spoke to reporters about the status of weapons inspections in Iraq. Mr. David Kay, Chief U.S. Weapons Inspector in Iraq, criticized media characterizations of the reports saying that he had found evidence of non-compliance with UN resolutions even though no weapons had been found. Following their remarks they answered questions from the reporters. close
