Eve Ensler talked about her book Insecure at Last: Losing It in Our Security-Obsessed World, published by Villard. She talked about security and the meaning of freedom. She examined the post-September 11 world, drawing on her personal experience and on the stories of Afghan women, Hurricane Katrina survivors, and anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan. She read excerpts from her book and commented on her personal insecurities. After her presentation she responded to audience members' questions.
