Scholars talked about how they think innovation can preserve resources and if the current economic and political climate is favorable to new ideas. Professor Diamond gave the opening keynote address on the new economic order. Then he joined a discussion, moderated by Mr. Vaitheeswaran, on building a global innovation society. The panelists responded to questions from members of the audience.
