Robert Samuelson talked about his book The Great Inflation and Its Aftermath: The Past and Future of American Affluence, published by Random House (November 11, 2008). The book is about the rise in inflation from 1960 to 1979 and the impact of the period on Americans today. Following Mr. Samuelson’s talk Prakash Loungani rebutted. Mr. Samuelson and Mr. Loungai then responded to audience members' questions.

Robert Samuelson, columnist for Newsweek and the Washington Post, is the author of The Good Life and Its Discontents and Untruth: Why Converntional Wisdom Is (Almost Always) Wrong. close
