Kyle McSlarrow, president and CEO of the National Cable and Telecommunications Association, addressed the Washington Metropolitan Cable Club for the first time as NCTA president. He talked about the shape of the telecommunications marketplace and the cable industry’s view of rules and regulations governing competition. He also talked about the impact of technological innovations, bundling of services by providers, and consumer use of telecommunications products and services.
