The 2005 Defense Base Closure and Realignment Commission held a regional hearing on the list of possible closures and realignments of defense bases. Elected officials and community representatives testified about the impact of closing or realigning military installations in Indiana. The installations under consideration were Air Guard Station Fort Wayne International Airport, Air Guard Station Hulman Regional Airport, Defense Finance and Accounting Service Indianapolis, and Naval Weapons Support Center Crane. close
