Ellen Ratner and Brent Bozell talked with hosts John Milewski and Ken Paulson about indecency in the media. They discussed the decency rules for broadcast radio and television; whether certain rules should be extended to apply to cable, satellite, and other subscription services; and Janet Jackson’s “wardrobe malfunction” during the Superbowl XXXVIII halftime show. Among the other topics addressed were the role of government in regulating communications indecency, and the enforcement of regulations. Panelists also responded to questions from the audience. close
