Panelists discussed the environmental proclivities of the new Congress and President Clinton’s second term. They compared the possible environmental legislation which the 105th Congress might debate and compared its environmental posture to the 104th Congress. They also examined the implications of the slight Republican majority on possible environmental debates. After their individual presentations, the panelists discussed these issues among themselves and took questions from the audience. close
