Former members of the Bush administration National Security Council’s deputies' committee spoke about their use of intelligence in making policy decisions. The deputies' committee was made up of the deputy national security advisor and deputy secretaries from the State Department, Defense Department, Joint Chiefs of Staff and others. They described the committee’s processes and reminisced about their experiences. After their prepared remarks they took questions from the audience. close
