The NOAA National Weather Service announced its 2005 Atlantic hurricane season outlook and update. Officials noted the active nature of the season with seven named storms to date and predicted even stronger activity throughout the season which ends in November. They also talked about emergency preparedness measures and the accuracy of storm prediction. Following their remarks they answered questions from reporters. close
