The National Hunger Symposium was held by a coalition of organizations on the eve of National Hunger Awareness Day to address the issue of hungry Americans. Following opening remarks, Max Armstrong moderated a panel discussion on “Initial Thoughts on the Farm Bill Reauthorization.” They focused on the state of the agriculture industry, initial thoughts on the Farm Bill and proposed agriculture legislation, and national hunger issues. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
