William F. Schulz and others released Amnesty International’s 2005 annual report on human rights. The report analyzed the year’s setbacks and advancements for human rights in 149 countries and territories. It also condemned treatment of prisoners and detainees at U.S. facilities as well as the lack of a thorough independent investigation into reports of torture by U.S. personnel. Following their remarks they answered questions from reporters. close
