Mr. Murray discussed his book, Human Accomplishment: The Pursuit of Excellence in the Arts and Sciences, 800 B.C. to 1950, published by HarperCollins. The author argued that a large majority of those remembered for their accomplishments are white males. He writes that this is due in large part to several factors, including the idea of Thomism within the Catholic Church. Mr. Murray also gave an overview of his research methodology and answered audience members' questions. close
