In a panel discussion to celebrate a new edition of [Huckleberry
Finn] which contains previously unpublished portions of the
manuscript, participants discussed the literary and historical
significance of the novel. They also debated its meanings on a
variety of levels, especially whether the racial slurs contained in
it make it anachronistic and obsolete in the 1990s. Before the
discussion, Bill Murray read a portion of the new additions.
