Thomas Desjardin talked about his book Through a Howling Wilderness: Benedict Arnold’s March to Quebec, 1775, published by St. Martin’s Press. He described Arnold’s 1775 invasion of the British-controlled city of Quebec. He talked about the details of the attack, which was undertaken to weaken the British hold on the lower 13 colonies, and described how the soldiers dealt with food shortages and environmental hazards. After his presentation Mr. Desjardin answered audience members' questions. close
