The Treasury Department Office of Thrift Supervision held a forum on the national housing market and consumer issues. Panelists talked about critical issues in protecting the consumer home financing, mortgage fraud issues, federal regulation of banking and financial assistance, as well as the future of the industry. They also answered questions from the audience.
