The 9/11 Public Discourse Project, the nonprofit successor organization to the 9/11 Commission, held a panel discussion about securing the homeland. The panel reviewed progress being made on the 9/11 Commission’s recommendations on national preparedness, border security, and transportation security.

The board of the 9/11 Public Discourse Project consisted of the former members of the 9/11 Commission. Retired Coast Guard Commander Flynn left for Dulles Airport before the program ended. Former Senator Kerrey (D-NE) moderated the panel and asked questions of the participants. close
