Jamie Gorelick, vice chairman of Fannie Mae, reviewed a project to provide adequate housing in the LeDroit Park region of Washington, DC. The project was taken on by federal agencies in league with Howard University and other private entities and was to be a model for other cities to follow. Washington, D.C. Mayor-elect Anthony Williams praised the program and congratulated the participants on their work. close
