Preservation dignitaries celebrated the introduction of bipartisan legislation to permanently authorize the Preserve America and Save America’s Treasures programs, co-sponsored by Senators Domenici and Clinton. First lady Laura Bush is honorary chair of both organizations. Interior Secretary Kempthorne also spoke. Reps. Miller and Turner are the co-chairmen of the Congressional Historic Preservation Caucus. close
