Mr. Sugar talked about competition in high technology, saying that the U.S. dominates the world through our mastery of the governing commodity of this age, intellectual capital. Topics included the B-2 fly wing Stealth bomber, laptop computers, Internet broadband access, and the U.S. space program. He proposed that the U.S. needs more high school math and science teachers, needs to train more engineers, and needs to re-energize the National Laboratory systems. After his presentation he answered audience members' questions.
