In the second program of a two part series, historians and authors discussed the life and writings of Henry Adams, the grandson of U.S. President John Quincy Adams. They gave a brief overview of his youth, his career as a political correspondent as well as the books he owned and read. They also discussed several of Adams' writing, including his nine-volume History of the United States and his novel Democracy. close
