The Democratic National Committee held its third hearing on their party’s 2004 national platform at the Indian School in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The previous hearing had been cancelled due to the death of President Reagan and some of those panels were included. The committee focused on the U.S. economy, specifically small businesses, jobs and taxes. They also discussed health care and education.

After testimony from Dr. Maxey on healthcare their were panels on trade, income, and the economy. After Dr. Simmons testified about healthcare there were two panels on healthcare. After Professor Comer testified about education there was a panel on education. close
