Pollsters and other political observers spoke in a forum on health care issues in the 1992 presidential and congressional elections. The forum was sponsored by the Alliance for Health Care Reform, a bipartisan organization dedicated to educating legislators and citizens on proposals for making health care more affordable and available to Americans. Issues brought up in the forum included the role of health care reform as an issue in the agendas of the major presidential candidates and specific health care reform proposals forwarded by the Democratic and Republican parties. The speakers responded to questions from members of the audience following their prepared remarks. close
