The committee heard testimony from Julie Myers who was nominated by President Bush to be head of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency, and Emilio Gonzales who was nominated to be Director of the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services, both of which are parts of the Department of Homeland Security. James O’Gara who was nominated to be Deputy Director for Supply Reduction, Office of National Drug Control Policy also testified. close
