The Democratic presidential candidate spoke during a campaign swing through his home state of Iowa. Iowa will hold its presidential caucuses, the first caucuses in the 1992 presidential election, on February 10. Senator Tom Harkin addressed his supporters on the progress of his campaign, and charged them with more enthusiasm as the Iowa caucuses approached. He also criticized the president’s stand on international trade, particularly after the president’s recent and ineffectual trip to Japan. close
